Tournament Format and Local Rules:

→ The Texas Shootout is open to B1, B2, B3, B4, B5 and fully sighted players, both male and female, ages 14 and up. Full teams are not required and all players will be put into a main pool and assigned teams before each game.
We will send out registration information and waivers for all participants once you have confirmed your attendance.

→ Goal Keepers must be at least a B3 or fully sighted and all field players regardless of their level of sight will require a blindfold while playing.

→ Games will consist of two 15 minute halves, with a running clock and a 10 minute halftime. Games tied at the end of regulation will use penalty kicks to determine the winner.

→ One local rule we will be implemeting is that goalkeepers can verbally position defensive players even when the ball is not in the defending third as long as it does not interfere with normal game play.

→ Due to facility constraints the indoor pitch will be 130' x 90' as opposed to the regulation size of 131' x 65'.

→ We will have first aid on site.

→ Trophy and medals awarded to tournament champion. Medals awarded to 2nd and 3rd place squads.

Transportation and Accommodation:

We have two local airports for teams travelling by plane, DFW Airport and Dallas Love Field; DFW Airport is slightly closer to the hotels and soccer facility with more airline options. Love Field is a smaller airport and easier to get in and out of.

A hotel list will be provided once we finalize a facility.

Restaurants: A restaurant list will be provided once we finalize a facility.
